An earthquake measuring 7.9 on the richter scale occured at Dijuangyan in Central China on Monday at 1428 local time (0628 GMT). At least 10,000 people are dead. 60,000 more are feared missing.

A series of bombs exploded near historic monuments in the town of Jaipur in Northern India today. 60 people are dead and 150 have been injured. No group has claimed responsibility.
